We can but that commentator on Sky last night really wound me up, he really was a condescending #### He talked as though it was a big injustice to Leeds that they’d not been in the Premier for 14 years. No time for Leeds but you can’t argue they didn‘t deserve It this season.
Ok terrific season for em but are they very good? Don’t think they match up to Norwich, Blunts or Villa
They are a local rival, they've had trip-ups, but I'd say they have been by far the best team in the Championship this season. Far more consistent than any of the other clubs, which is why they are where they are. Are they a great side? I doubt it, but they will undoubtedly spend now with the benefit of Premier League revenues. Whatever you feel about Leeds, Bielsa is an absolute legend. And he was very gracious with Gerhard last night - just as he had been with Scott Parker the other week. I've never believed that supporting your own club demands you to have a dislike of your local rivals, and I like to see all Yorkshire clubs do well. Leeds are where they deserve.
Only positive for me is that they won’t be on sky every week next season and when they are will probably be getting beat most weeks.
Let them enjoy their day in the sun. Based on what we saw last night ( second best to the leagues bottom team) they need to invest millions to stand any chance of staying in the Premiership. Like Villa and Norwich, they will probably struggle because the gap between the top and bottom teams in the Premiership is now absolutely massive.
I'll never understand why they hate Man U so much, its down to jealousy imo because its certainly not a derby match.
J Just because they deserve it, doesn’t mean I can’t dislike them. Don’t get me wrong I’m not bitter, and if they hadn’t been in our league I wouldn’t really pay much attention to them. Bielsa has done a great job, and Leeds have been very impressive for most of thIs season.Oh, and you don’t know the Leeds fans I know, they have no time or good words for us.
Leeds and Brentford are the best sides I've seen us play, can't argue against what they've achieved. I think they'll strengthen well over the summer, I reckon Bielsa will attract some good players, wouldn't surprise me to see then do similarly to Sheff Utd. I work in Leeds 4 days per week, I can't wait until Monday................
Don't think they have anywhere near enough money to buy big and be competitive. Let's not forget they've been a lower league club for many years.
Bielsa is a class manager. Haven't a clue what money he'll get next season but as it stands now I'm not sure I'd bet on them staying up.
I come on here to get away from all the Leeds crap on social media! Can we please ban anything related to that club?
Finally, then, they manage to limp over the line without throwing their usual wobbly. Shame, but it's done now. What I am looking forward to now is their spectacular failure next season. After all these years of denying their lower league status/living in a dreamworld it would be SOOOOOO funny if they do what Norwich have done this season and lose that desperately won place in the greed league. I think the entire football world will have a laugh if that happens. Even better, I want them to get a proper pasting at their natural rivals, ie Manchester United
