    It actually doesn't surprise me. I was watching the WBA with my nephew and at full time when he was happy they were staying up I commented on how Cowley and his whole coaching staff were hugging eachother and celebrating not going down. As the owner of a club who have spent the past two seasons in the top flight, you would be a bit disgruntled seeing them all acting like they have won promotion.

    There's gratitude for you, they've avoided relegation, he got some semblance of discipline back into the squad. A good manager who gets results although I'm not keen on his style of football. Won't be coming here because they'll cost too much.

    Why would Hudds sack them then? Surely they'd be getting compo from Bristol City if it was a done deal but by sacking the pair they will be due a pay out from Town.

    Absolutely no gratitude in football. Cowley said on appointment he wanted to get to
    50 points. He's got a very poor outfit to 51 points. What more did they expect.
    Next dismissal will be at Vicarage Road, where the Watford board are poised to sack
    Nigel Pearson.
