    It was back in April when I was supposed to be going to the snooker final. Just had it confirmed I'll be one of the 250 seeing the trophy lifted this year live.

    Got tickets for the Euro final at Wembley which should have been a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we'll be more or less back to normal by this time next year.

    Been told they're still valid even though they have the wrong date on. People can get a refund so don't know if they'll reuse those returned tickets or print new ones out.

    Mate of mine used to get tickets for the World Finals at the Crucible most years and invited me along one particular
    year. I attended our game at Hillsborough in the afternoon and met up with him for the evening snooker session.
    He was waxing lyrical about the tactics used by each player to attempt to get the best of his opponent.
    After about twenty minutes I heard loud snoring and glanced at my mate. He was absolutely sock on and slept for
    a good hour before waking up in time for an interval.

    One year I went and was sat next to a NZ guy who hadn't a clue what was going off and had just got a ticket because it was something to do in Sheffield.
    I did my best to explain but he didnt come back after the interval!

    UEFA tend to use electronic tickets so you will download them to your phone. They started this in Portugal for the nations league finals and they worked quite well. They did a trial run at Wembley and all tickets bought in the members club sale were electronic again went well.

    I hit 50 last August and had a monstrous p*ss up. It’s not as bad as it sounds. Still not thrilled at the prospect of being 51 though.

    Thanks for the best wishes. I had my 50th birthday in April and had a few things planned and this is the first thing I can actually do_Other events will be a year away due to postponement or just won't happen.
