A) They get points deducted this season and be relegated or B) They get points deducted next season which gives us a greater chance of staying up again (and gives them a larger chance of being relegated next season anyway) I know A sounds like a no brainer but is it actually better for our club if B happens instead?
Definitely B. Unless Wigan’s appeal is successful and we’re relying on the massives to stay up. They’re absolutely awful, under Monk. Take 12 points off them next season and they’ll be struggling.
If A happens it hedges our chances against Wigan getting a reduced penalty. And would also be very funny.
I want to be in the same division as them because I love darby days. When we looked nailed on for relegation, we only had Donny Rovers to look forward to next season, with Rotherham coming up. However, I would LOVE IT (Keegan style) if Wednesday start next season on minus points and become the Championship whipping boys.
A. Just because of the b&stard I’ve had off them most of the season and after yesterday they’re all very sheepish. Even the Leeds fans have said well done.
Tough one, heart says A but brain says B. The only down side to B is that Charlton and Lee Bowyer get a reprieve.
B would make it easier for us to stay up next season, so I would say B. Just looked at their forum and they are obsessed...... https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/291165-barnsley/page/4/#comments
A. If found guilty, they gained their advantage from it this season, so the punishment should be applied to this season's squad.
Never met a Wednesday fan I liked. The ones here at work are all the snidey backstabbers, same at my last firm. That club must attract them. Please EFL can you fix it for the fowls to get an appropriate points deduction, ground falling to bits and another fan base living in the past. We needn't worry about what their fans think of us, state of the place ffs.
Jesus that’s 10 mins I’m never getting back. Combined IQ of an amoeba. Their basic logic seems to be its fine to cheat as long as you don’t get caught. Then if you do get caught moan about the rules until you get your own way. It’s basically like breakfast time with a toddler.
B and watch them squirm and crap themselves all the way to relegation next season. oh, and do the double over them in the process
