Woodrow in last year of his contract, will he get offered a new deal?the owners have always said unless a player is willing to sign a new deal they’ll be sold(same goes for Mowatt)
Woodrow has two years left on his contract (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48230130) Sell if they have a replacement lined up, get a good fee and we don’t sell any other first team regulars
Offered new terms, won't sign, and will be sold. Would love to see AM and CW next season but it's not happening.
Thought mowatt was waiting to see what division we were in? If he doesnt sign I think he will be sold. If the owners sell woodrow mowatt and brown in the same window this summer they are asking for trouble(again) top scorer and 2 players with most assists never going to end well.
Yep. Sell 1 is understandable, as it's always been the way. 2 would be irritating, more than 2 shows the board will have learned absolutely nothing.
We would be stupid to sell all three but 1 asset per window to keep finances ticking over (now more than ever) should be expected.
Looking forward to the pen coming out in the next few weeks...Styles 19 year deal would be my first choice.
Just a hunch based on nothing whatsoever but I reckon if Fulham fail to go up Mitrovic will be off and they will come in for Cauley
Woodrow is the last player you'd be bringing in to replace a strong, powerful lone striker like Mitrovic.
I think you’re right. Mitrovic will be on some right coin, and probably feeling he’s playing a league below his level. If Fulham don’t go up, he’ll be off, and it’ll suit both parties.
Cauley has two years left on his contract. Even our board are not likely to sell unless it's for silly money. Which bearing in mind how many goals he scored since lockdown, I don't think anybody is going to be offering.
Here we go again. How many times do people need to realise that when a player wants to go he will go unless we start handcuffing them to the gates. It happens at every club, even us.
Mowatt is staying. He told my best friends cousins partners fathers pet hamster that he wants to stay
How many times has the Peterborough chairman turned down bids for Ivan Toney because they were derisory? He's still there isn't he? https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/5843238/celtic-fc-transfer-news-ivan-toney/
These owners have had a get out of jail card here. I could be wrong but I feel the vast majority were upset with last seasons performance at board level, along with myself. Right now they have an opportunity to rectify all their mistake, signing Woodrow, Mowatt and Brown up will go along way in doing that and will show us they mean business and care for the club. For everything I have said about these owners in the past I would quickly forget if they don’t make the same mistakes again. They have an opportunity now. I don't feel I am alone here. Conway and co, you have a fresh start now! Show us why we should support you as well as our football club. I really hope they take advantage of this situation.
He's still there at the moment. The point I was making was that for the past 18 months they've been turning down bids for Toney because their valuation wasn't met.
