West Brom - the side thats just been promoted to the Premier League for 2.5 Million thats somewhat hard to believe Also if we sold Keefer for allegedly £2.5- 3Million someone wants their bits felt if we are selling Woodrow for the same amount
It’s a low figure but it might be very good in the new post Covid-19 world. Probably rubbish though as he’s not good enough for the Premier so I doubt WBA will be interested. Middlesbrough though might be.
For a player with 2 years left on his contract its too low for me. We have just had a million pound bid turned down for a striker from Livingstone but were going to sell a proven championship striker also our top scorer for 2.5 million like I said we will never learn.
Absolutely no way our top scorer is being sold for peanuts to a moneybags premier league club when he's a few years left on his contract. Some will believe owt if he's worth less than journeyman Moore.
I’d say it’s a bit early with the “we will never learn” based off a Facebook rumour and wherever the Dykes rumour came from.
He’s a quality championship striker. His scoring record is approx one every other game. He scores every type of goal. Including 30 yard hits. he’s well into double figures despite being played in midfield for large parts of it and with one of the worst creative sides in the league. In a good side he’d get 20 or more. With 2 years left, if we ask for anything less than £10m we might as well let the council concrete the pitch, cease altogether and just hold socially distanced car boot sales!
Agree about Woodrow being class but your claim of being the worst creative side doesn’t bare out either statistically or otherwise . Chances have been created in many games and not taken .
