    Talking of players who’d fit the system, what about Callum Morton who was on loan at Northampton. He looked like a shorter version of McBurnie. Really busy, put himself about and scored goals.

    For what its worth (usually nowtpence) this is my take on it:

    1. He's been striker without portfolio recently
    2. If he'd played instead of Patrick Bamford in the dirty L***s team he'd have notched circa 30 goals
    3. We sell players, usually good ones, but we need a decent fee about £10m would suffice
    4. We need to sign a ready made replacement FIRST

    Why do you come out with that , someone posts a rumour & and straight away its become a fact & something to have a pop at the club about , why don"t fans wait for official club statements about transfers before spilling vile & hatred against the owners .

    So on one hand the owners have multi billion pound business interests but when it comes to BFC they’re willing to sell off their most valuable assets for a song. I’m sorry mate but it it just doesn’t make any sense at all. It’s just a mindless conspiracy that miserablists such as yourself continue to peddle.

    Seems a bit harsh that, Stephen. It was great to see the passion of players celebrating but maybe Cauley is just a quieter soul. I don't think we should be looking to offload him on the grounds of undercelebration.

    Of course I don’t know him personally but from what I’ve seen of him on the pitch and from his interviews, I’d say Cauley is generally a reserved guy. Never really goes over the top, even when he scores.

    Yes, he’s not had the best of times since the resumption but I would absolutely not sell him. Replacing his 15 goals from this season would cost. More than likely more than what we’d sell him for too.
