There's a significant difference between the UK and the US, compared to most other western countries.

Your baby can’t have a flu vaccine but is far more likely to die if it contracts flu than if it contracts the ‘Vid.

Are you talking behaviour or in terms of statistics. Comparing statistics with others is difficult due to the different ways in which the data has been collected. As evidenced recently by our own mess with PHE.

Behaviour. Britain and the US are full of ******* idiots. Over the last 4 years the masses have been trained to be sceptical of experts and scientists. Vulnerable people have been preyed on through Facebook by people using them to gain power. Now when people have to use common sense for the good of the masses, they are so far down the rabbit hole that they just dismiss it all as conspiracy theories. The US is worse than us, but we’re not far behind.

I'm not disagreeing that we have those problems I'm just suggesting you may be looking at the rest of europe from a rose tinted viewpoint.
I've seen articles on people in Italy, Germany, Spain acting just a badly. And for all the pictures you may see on tv of people on beaches ect keep in mind that the overwhelming majority of people have followed the guidelines for the most part.

TM's post wasn't aimed at you. You're inconveniently using intelligence. Stop it, it doesn't help the narrative.

You said you had never had the flu to spread it.
But you may have had it and spread it without knowing. So you may have passed it along and that led to someone's death.
Which leads to the point which was......
Do you think we should wear masks and social distance every Flu season?

Children over 2 qualify for the flu vaccine.

    https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/child-flu-vaccine/

The reason that children under 2 don't have the flu vaccine is that a larger number of babies develop diabetes as a result of the flu vaccine than suffer the symptoms of flu. It is proven to be worse for them than not having it.

Spanish research suggests that ~50% of hospitalized patients suffer from neurological problems as a result of the blood thickening caused by COVID. Seen plenty of anecdotal evidence of people suffering long term side effects from it.
