    Agreed. Our results were terrible against teams at the bottom end of the table.

    However, this isn’t the first time a club has been relegated due to a points deduction and won’t be the last! We were statistically the 3rd worst team in 2012 yet we stayed up due to Portsmouth’s deduction.

    I agree, that record is shocking and definitely something we need to look at next season.

    I’m feeling like a broken record here but if Wigan weren’t paying players they couldn’t afford then we might’ve got more points off them. They certainly wouldn’t have finished mid table, which is why I can’t see that argument from their fans.

    On the flip side we drew twice with WBA, did the double over Fulham, won at Brentford and drew twice with Swansea. We also played Leeds off the park at their place so that merits a bit of credit too.

    Statistically we were but fairly no, Portsmouth broke the rules giving them an unfair advantage .
    I have no qualms on us surviving if teams are cheating or gaining an unfair advantage .
    Imo we should be halfway up the table .
