    Only Howl I know is a Turkish Delight Stout from Rooster's. Wouldn't be any legal action come from those boys so if it was due to that it would have definitely been amicable.

    Yeah but they wouldn't object to a beer called Howl from Verdant.

    It's like an unwritten code that you don't steal a beer name but is usually resolved with a phone call.

    Another Cornish brewery do a beer called An Howl (penpont brewery, although may now go by teh name of Alternun brewery - they appear to be rebranding.) On a side note Penpont/ Alternun have a sister brewery called Firebrand. Not dure if their beers have escaped Kernow yet, but they are pretty good( on cask anyway - not tried their canned versions although a mate who is fussy seems quite keen). Lot of modern style beers, NEIPA's West Coast IPA's etc.

    Wish I was still on the beer but since they started with all this smooth ***** it put me reight off & now I'm into the proper cider, vintage stuff n that, Westons, Aspalls & Merrydown & the likes. am on it tneet so get ready :D
