I've just this second subscribed to BT and cancelled Sky. Saving of around £12 a month and my broadband will be twice as quick.
Thanks for that. I think we’re pretty limited in which we can have, with having Sky Q and Sky broadband, but I’ve seen some Tenda ones for about £60. How many do you have setup around the house?
The link is for a three pack. I have them set up in a triangle around the house. (A) Next to the router its plugged into (they send a better signal than the router which is a NowTv Sky modem) (B) Opposite side of the house on the first floor. Network cable into the back of it for the two kids computers. (C) Ground floor again Kitchen at the back of the house to cover the Garden. A and B alone more than cover the house but having the third in the Kitchen means pretty much the whole garden is covered too. The best speed we can get in our village is 70meg and they throw out 52-70 pretty much anywhere in the house. Using the old powerline it dropped to about 18 in room (B) but it's 60 in there now. We have a cabin about 16m from the back of the house which we've always used a powerline adapter for. The powerline gets about 18m (which isn't bad considering the distance) but we now get 22m on the mesh wifi which is enough for watching films etc, which is what we use it for.
