    This has to be a wind up. Nobody would say this in a serious interview...

    It's a spoof. But I bet most people had to do a double take with it. That in itself is a damning indictment not only of the authorities who would contemplate sanctioning the takeover but also a large percentage of football fans who will happily leave morals on the doorstep where their own club is concerned. It's one of the main reasons football is f**ked, because football fans who, collectively would hold massive power, will never join forces to help clean up the game.
