    Rumour is the only reason Pompey didn’t sign him was his wages due to concerns over the upcoming FFP rules/salary cap rules expected to be voted in.
    If there is any resemblance of truth in that it means we have a player who the coach doesn’t have in his plans, no one in Championship is likely to want him and L1!teams can’t afford him.

    What does the club do?
    Back the coach and find a way to move him on that frees a place and a wage?
    Tell the coach he has to stay cos they can’t sell him and get a fee(if they didn’t)?

    Any other players in the squad are irrelevant to this, it’s the coaches call and I believe to a man we all called for the club to back Struber in the future.

    Don't know much about the quality of the players they have but a quick google search uncovered a player called Junior Fashion Sakala. No idea where he plays, if he is good etc. But has to be signed just for the name alone.

    I think I said earlier it doesn't look good and potentially opens us up to scrutiny, but that's not to say anything dodgy has happened, more it could look that way.

    Personally I reckon he's gone on a free and it has freed up wages. It throws up some questions as to whether that itself is ethical, but I don't for one minute think they've over-inflated his value or done anything like that which would totally take the piss given the statements the club have made re FFP.

    I simply can’t work out how this could be a bad deal.
    We need to ensure we get vfm from any player we’re keeping. And they do too!!

    Given that we and they are closely related, it’s daft to assume that it’s a bad deal for either side. It’s mutually beneficial. I thought Cam was great in our promotion squad, but was clearly never gonna step up to the Championship
