Totally agree, we were confused a few times as the route on the ground was different to that shown on the map. Good luck!
He's fine, although this discount scheme has stressed him out a bit. He's, a great bloke though, so funny at times. I love sitting with a pint on a Saturday night, watching him getting into a panic trying to organise everything! By the way, for the avoidance of doubt, the Curry Mahal is NOT on the Barnsley Boundary Walk route.
I think he liked it during lock down, just doing takeaways because he didn't have any staff worries. Curry Mahal often interrupts a good walk on a Sunday tea time .
I've probably seen you, I often go on Sunday evenings early on. I'm the one sitting in reception with a pint, perusing the menu even though I know it off by heart!
You have, I nearly said hello one Sunday evening shortly after you finished that monster walk last year. I kinda put 2 and 2 together and thought that must be him.
Well you bugger. That's exactly where I thought it was looking Well sort of. I thought it was taken from more of a South to North angle but the rear of the photo is what I thought it was.
The local athletic clubs have a relay race around the Boundary every year. Unfortunately it had to be cancelled this year.
Did it in 1994 on my own. Did one section at a time and walked back to car, trying to use a different route back. or the same in reverse if not possible. There used to be a small pamphlet on it from the council which was useful.
