    We were always getting our money when the payment was due... it’s a footballing debt so is protected... only way we would was if Wigan folded

    we will get some to start with, but I reckon they will owe others too. So we may not get the full amount just yet IMHO.

    Means we should get our money, but we'll be behind their players in the queue I reckon.

    Reported that 1.5m outstanding of the fee owed to us. Also money owed to Everton for Robinson and Williams and to Portsmouth for Lowe.

    All signings they made last summer, that they would not be able to afford from club income once one transfer out (Robinson to Milan) fell through.

    I know, but further down in the article it mentions other transfers being used to clear footballing debt. It’s a shockingly written article anyway.
