He’s not at League One Charlton who have no cash and could be going into admin at some point. He’s at one of the biggest clubs outside the top flight, a club steeped in history, at one of the game’s great venues.

Lyle Taylor has displayed c untism of the highest order. Condoning such behaviour just makes it easier for the disloyal ******** to put money before their team and (if they have any), self respect. In my book he joins Raheem
Sterling et al as players I will never support, no matter how well they play, or who they play for,, including England.

he’s a bit of a **** but in this instance he wasn’t doing anything wrong.

 

He wasn't out of contract for the first few games.

 

He was still under contract for part of the season extension, I think he could have played 3 or 4 games under contract before it expired. In answer to your question, probably not, but I would have fulfilled my contractual obligations

 

He was never out of contract. He chose not to play. Can’t imagine people who defend the absolutely massive weapon had he had contract at BFC.

As for Taylor. If I were a Charlton fan I’d want to punch him in the head. The consequences of his crappy decision certainly came home to roost - fortunately for us.

 

He was, his contract was up at the end of June. He "decided " he wouldn't play in the first few games after lockdown ended as he didn't want to get injured and spoil his next "big" move

 

Don't forget he possibly signed a pre season contract with NF.....who at the time of his comments were in the play off places ...and were in some cases strongly tipped for the promised land...should they have gone up via play offs then the lads comments of life changing would have been justified

 

I heard the Lee Bowyer interview on Talksport. He confirmed that it was 3-4 games he was available prior to his contract expiring but chose not to play. Bowyer on the interview sounded like a beaten man.

It wouldn't suprise me if it was on Forests instructions.

 

Surely steeped in history would indicate the late 70s and early 80s achievements are that ?!?

 

If that was the case, Forest would have announced him as signed as soon as the transfer window opened. It's been open 2 or 3 weeks now, so that scenario is unlikely imho

 

Actually, you’re wrong! He was under contract for the 1st 2 games of the restart, arguably 3 as they played Cardiff on the 30th June. He did the dirty on Charlton, he could do it on Forest (although, in truth, I don’t give a monkey’s)

 

Would laugh my **** off if he got crocked first game of the season.
