Exactly, but it's getting very hard to trust the new owners. Court appearances and litigation are never too far away from this lot. Without knowing the full truth it would be very easy to say that I would be glad to see the back of them
I'm glad they have offered their side of the story. Chien and Paul to date seem to have fallen out with/ issued strong words about: Hearts Daniel Stendel Hull City Nice fanbase Wigan The EFL Cryne Family Have I missed anyone? I was open-minded yesterday but this continued aggro following them around is making me lean more towards the Crynes if I'm honest. I can't remember any other period of ownership where as much stuff as this has occurred.
Unlike the statement yesterday, that statement is detailed but succinct and provides much more clarity. Can someone tell me how alleged billionaires a) wanted to reduce the agreed payments to the Crynes at a time they were buying stakes in other clubs, and b) why they didnt exercise their option until january, well outside of clause period?
Well that certainly puts a different slant on it! If the late request for a reduction in price and extended payment schedule is true and the amended schedule hasn't been adhered to despite repeated requests then it's understandable they would take action. I'm not going to express an opinion as to who is right and wrong as the truth will out in time but I wonder if some people who've posted about the Cryne's may be thinking slightly differently now.
So, eased on that, they agreed a price to buy the club, asked for it to be reduced and longer to pay (both agreed) and yet still owe outstanding monies leading to a court claim. All this during the period in which they were actively seeking, and purchasing, other football clubs. That puts a very different perspective on the initial statement. The truth no doubt lies somewhere in between the two, but on initial reading, there's far more for me to be concerned about in the Cryne version.
And there doesn’t appear to be a third party claim on the 50% of the ground. Crynes state they were happy to sell.
Well. We see Chien and crew alluding to a 3rd party option to buy the ground however this is not mentioned by the Crynes but they do comment on other issues requiring resolution in relation to such.
It's really just a lovers tiff and a little misunderstanding. They'll reconcile and the make up sex will be awesome and thrust the club into the Premier League. Well, something like that
