correct. And the Cryne’s must have thought that because they sold the club to them. If they continue to improve us bit by bit, re-do west stand and sell up in a few years, I’ve no complaints. Days of family ownership are long gone for serious clubs. We might have to get used to owners changing every few years
They want to redevelop the stand and incorporate a permanent bar/social club into it. Personally I'm all for that.
There was talk of a bar... but I've not seen anything related to clear intent to redevelop the west stand at their cost. Think last I heard from Conway was an interview with Andy Giddings and that interview included talks with the council and trying to get people at the ground longer. Not sure with current restrictions and future uncertainty of crowds that spending money for a bar which people cant meet in is the wisest of things. Crazy, some might say ;-)
by the time this is sorted out and planning permission along with build time , I think the virus will have been sorted.
There is already a bar underneath the West Stand towards the North Stand. I saw it once before the Man City friendly in 2008. There were two bouncers guarding the door.
I think you are right. Think that was the entertaining area of the board from years back. Maybe even the original board room. Remember being shown it when I was a mascot in 19.. summat or other.... a long time back
Based on a chronicle article where they make no mention of anyone else buying their share of the stadium at all? All we have are two sides. I suspect the truth lies in neither.
Ha ha...nice one...although tbey made a first class job of building the fans forum tent thing......oh hang on!!!
