My local team Selby Town are allowing 150 in from saturday so I might go watch. It's only a friendly against a local village side but it will be nice to go watch a game. Anyone watching any local football round Barnsley at the weekend?
I've been penistone church a few times before lockdown and always really enjoyed it so may make the trip there again soon for sure
Will probably be watching Wakefield AFC when we can't watch the Reds. They are playing their home games at Fev Rovers ground.
Last game I went to was non league (in Feb) - Guernsey vs Hayward Heath. Guernsey still has a mandatory 14 day quarantine for any arrivals (and is not subject to UK rules) and is virus free. No way that they can host any visiting teams at the moment... Makes it difficult for that league to operate.
I shall be partaking of a pre season friendly tomorrow. It’s still a mess though. step 3 and below can have 15% and then 30% of fans in. Step 1 and 2 plus the EFL can’t.
Possibly Brighouse Town. They're asking for you to "register an interest" so they can prevent too many just turning up.
Have they moved there for the new season mate? I was taking my dad to see them at dorothy hyman cudworth b4 covid.....chris turner (x weds keeper) was coach....played some great stuff and all under 23.
Not allowed to put a stand there because of the house's on Post Office Road but it puts their local rivals grounds to shame.
Yes pal, hopefully my lad will be playing for them. Ps plenty of good watering holes in close proximity as well
