Where the new houses have been built. Looks like someone has come down at high speed and lost it on the new roundabout and ended up smashing into one of the new homes on the bend.
They did a runner People use that like a racetrack the amount of times I’ve had drivers overtaking me on the solid whites then having to swerve in to miss an oncoming car
Very basic road I try and avoid it. I was only on it this morning as I was avoiding some rowdy works. If I lived in those houses I would want a barrier putting up, they won't feel safe now at all.
Agreed. Many a time I have seen an idiot driver and thought if we catch them up due to them being in a ditch then it would be their own fault.
I was once overtaken on the road from Thorpe Hesley to Hood Hill (Kirby Lane) by four guys in a pink Porsche giving me abuse for taking it steady on a windy country road. I got to the top of the hill and saw a houseowner waving at me to slow down, and the Porsche was upside down in the middle of the road. They jumped out, turned it over, jumped back in and drove off - but the front wheel was out of alignment and it left a trail along the road.
Not really. It's not exactly an accident if they were obviously driving far too fast for the road and conditions. Why do we as a society so easily accept deaths, injuries and damage to property etc caused by the misuse of motor vehicles?
I wasn't suggesting it was acceptable and I do understand what you are getting at. I would still call it a accident because I doubt that it was intentional. It would appear on the face of it that the cause was highly irresponsible driving.
No accident they’ve hit the roundabout at some speed to be propelled thru the air some 50 metres into a house
Let this be a lesson for lady drivers everywhere. DO NOT PRACTICE REVERSE PARKING IN THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING.
The bbc traffic reports have been referring to them as ‘incidents’ rather than accidents for a few years.
Look at these fking brain doners https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-en...mbridge-speeding-and-crashing-into-each-other
