It's funny. When these sort of rumours come about, there's always 3 clubs interested. They're all usually of similar size too. Not the sort of player we've gone for in the last few years. Had Keith Hill still been in charge, I'd have believed it a bit more.
Just seems to be one of those where agent is throwing a few clubs into the mix to drum up interest or get a club they are in talks with to pay higher wages etc. Was seemingly set for Boro (according to reports). Doesn't fit the usual type we go for although he is over 6 foot so Nudger would be happy.
The article suggests he had but then other clubs have joined the race. Something must be wrong at Boro as it seems they’ve lost out on a lot of targets this summer and this could had to it !

And looks like 12 of them for Auxerre B team, so that's 26 senior goals in 10 years as a pro. It's a No from me as well
This is surely a load of rubbish. I can't see us going for a journeyman type like him, and I don't think he's particularly good. If somehow it was true though, I wouldn't be disappointed. Played a lot of games at a high level. I'd give him a chance to prove us wrong if he signed.
I'm not saying he would be the answer but we surely can't keep putting halme up front for some aerial ability and physical presence?
