From the interview with Stuber, created lots of chances and yet again failed to take them. For long periods out played them but if we dont convert chances then we will struggle. What does it take to convert chances into GOALS?

I honestly think from a pure football point of view we can match or better most teams in our league but that ability to be ruthless in the final third will determine how high we finish this season.

It takes cash for proven goal scorers, something we don’t have. We’ll be ok around mid table but lack the quality in final third to get any higher.

Well the first half of last season was conceding loads and scoring few - gets us relegated - the 2nd half was conceding few but not scoring enough - gets us mid table. If we can change up and score plenty - that's top 1/3rd.

Has Struber mentioned that they are looking at another striker? Or do the club think we have enough bodies to occupy those spots?
Still think we need a big striker as an option. Doesn't have to be a prolific goal scorer but someone who offers an alternative, even if that is to see out the last 15 mins of a game and hold the ball up etc.. Would we have to let someone go? Miller or Adeboyejo possibly.

Think we deffo need a striker, wont come cheap but Struber seems to have sorted us defensively now but it’s the end product we need to sort.

Think we have a very good striker already (CW) ... he's just going through a lean spell.
Also think CC is a pretty good one too.

Its not like we are missing sitters every week. Whenever I watch them it always looks like the final ball is that split second too late.

Im not bothered if we had played Real Madrid - on the video evidence of dominating a match and then still losing 2-1 - then it shows there is still a losing mentality within the team.
And as such it’s NOT good enough!!!!

just to be clear here, are constructive criticism or suggestions not allowed until the season starts proper?

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed at any point, but I'm going to save berating the club for not signing the players we need (or selling them) until the transfer window's closed!

I'm not even sure that's necessarily the answer either. We have 2 who scored 25 between them last season, despite having spells out of the side, and out of position.

I think we need more regular goalscorers all over the pitch; if you look at the chances missed by Brown, Ritzmaier, Mowatt, Thomas, McGeehan, Wilks, even Sollbauer, Anderson, J.Williams and Ludewig at times, we could have been out of sight in a few games we ended up losing. Halme was our 3rd top scorer. We need the midfielders to be chipping in with more than 3 goals, considering the number of chances they get in this system we play.
