    According to Alan Nixon the French American group wanting to buy Wigan have Stendel as their first choice to take over as manager. Next weekend Wigan face Fleetwood in the league cup.

    Now that would be interesting.

    Wouldn’t surprise me if this takeover happened and Wigan’s first signing would be Cameron McGeehan on loan from Oostende with a view to sign permanently at the end of the season.
