All the players on these lists get multiple mentions but I would also contend that the few not getting mentioned are good honest players and get the feeling that as a squad the ones who put in a shift for the team ( the likes of J Williams) are hugely important to GS.

Yeah no offence to Mowatt but I don’t rate him as highly as most do, I wouldn’t be overly bothered if we sold him but would be happy if we kept him

Yep ....... Williams was excellent against Forest.
Another one that might surprise a few - especially when he starts to get more shots on target - is THOMAS.
This guy is an exciting prospect.

YN is right about Williams he has been just as effective and consistent as Sol and Anderson and shouldn't be discounted and I agree he will get even better this season as will Thomas Odour Palmer Simeos etc. Bright future at Grove Street all being well.

Not sure of my top 5 but how anyone can leave Walton out I’m bewildered. The main reason we stayed up Styles would be in there. Then any 3 from 5 .
    Sol
    Mads
    Mowatt
    Williams J
    Woodrow
Would probably go with the first 3 if pushed.

12 different players selected and no ones picked the same 5 never mind in the same order.

That must tell us something and I'm sure Frieser, Thomas, Collins, Palmer, Wolfe, Ritzmaire, Diaby, Halme, Schmidt could impress when they get a chance.

I don't think I can select five players. This group of lads are the epitome of the word 'team'. There are occasions when a particular player has an outstanding game, but in my opinion they all make a positive contribution for the cause.
Others may well think differently, which is fine.

We need a better striker imo even though they are like gold dust. It would really make the team a good one

I think sir that was the main point of my OP, these lads are giving their all in a system set up by a quality manager who we are lucky to have. If everyone is picking a different five and shared out from 13 players then we are in a good place. The spreadsheet, recruitment team have brought in these players and the coaching team chosen by the owners have brought them on. Its taken a few years but i think we can all now see this coming together and probably like never before.

I know you'r not asking, but if the question was who would you be most disappointed with losing then it would be:
    GS
    GS
    GS
    GS
    GS

He has a plan & a style ... which appears to work. Think there are probably a lot of players who could be replaced without too much discernible difference.

    Yep.
Although I think Mowatt and Brown (as a striker) are not good enough for this team - there isn’t one player in the team that dosen’t put 100% in every match.
    It’s a pleasure to watch.
And with 3 or 4 more players in key positions then it will get even better.
