    Anyone hear what sounded like controlled explosions last night? Could hear them from the Oakwell area but sounded like it was in the distance, about 22:30 - 22:40.

    Definitely wasn't fireworks, around 3 separate explosions, two short bursts each.

    It was whitey and Paul Conway blowing up all the signs for Oakwell so they could replace them with grove Street signage.

    I Live in Stairfoot and heard a series of bangs around that time and they didn’t that far seem far away. Just Thought it was a vehicle exhaust backfire
