Seeing as the perception is that we always get our pants pulled down?

    Decent coin for Hignett
And for Ward, to the same club

I remember not wanting to lose Currie but we got the going rate (granted was before the days when folk started thinking of a number, adding a zero, multiplying by 5 and adding 6 zeros)

Mark Robinson? John Beresford? Carl Tiler?

Alfie Mawson, had a great season in League One and you could see he was a player but we got nearly 6 million for him and he’d played 4 Championship games.

I was relatively happy with the reported fee for Kieffer Moore. Unpopular opinion, I know.

    Agree.

What was also key in the Mawson deal is that we had Roberts and McDonald to fill the void (and maybe someone else who escapes me).

It's not necessarily the fee, it's the replacements too.

It helped, that while McDonald wasn’t as good a player as Mawson, he settled in immediately and him and Roberts were just as solid together. Plus Roberts was my favourite out of the 3 anyway. Pretty sure the back up that season was Jackson but I’m not 100%.

None, I've never really been bothered about how much money we buy or sell players for.

I thought Marc Roberts for £4 million was good business.

I thought the Loan fee Stoke gave us to take Brek Shea of there hands was a fair price

It was £5.5 million if I remember right, we then had to pay Brentford some and we got 500k in add ons and some for the sell on fee when he moved to Fulham. So probably with the sell on fee included well over 6 million.
