Can anyone recommend a decent speaker to use with an i-pad. Budget of around £100 to £150 . I like the idea and reputation of Bose but they are a tad too expensive.
    Thanks in advance.

Ultimate Ears Boom 3 is pretty good for around £120.

I have a beats pill plus, and I love it. Beats are owned by apple now too so it charges off the same cable as the ipad which is useful.

Bose Soundlink Colour II. Just over £100 at the moment and the sound out of it is magnificent for a small speaker. It would be perfect for use with an ipad.

Anker soundcore, I have the £30 and £50 models they do one for £99. The 50 pound one is a nice solid speaker.

Ultimate Ears Wonderboom - about £60 - very impressive and save a few quid.

Good to know there is another Bose-head out there. We’ve got all sorts and can’t fault any of it.

We've got the original Bose Soundlink Colour which for the price is great, have also got the Revolve and Revolve Plus, the smaller one i'm currently using for a sound system on the pc. Have also got a Wave and an older Sounddock, both now connected to TV's for better sound. Got some Bose on ear wireless headphones and the Quiet comfort over ear ones, also had the soundsport wireless and the soundsport free buds. Think that's it!. If you can go to about £170 and pick up the Revolve then that's really good with it being 360 degrees. It also depends if you want the low range as Bose are really the only ones that do it

Go for Sonos. Top end of your budget but worth it.

Not really bluetooth though, are they? I've got a few Sonos Play systems about the house, great sound but the interface is average. Not to mention when they're turned on, and not even in use, my internet speed drops massively.

I bought the original Bose soundlink years ago
    Still great
Big fan of Sonos too but appreciate that’s a different product - that said you can get Sonos move now
