To be honest Fired I don't really know. My lad simply said it was on the same lines as Filey.
Thinking about it, a lot of the properties at the Bay Filey are privately owned and are let
via the on site booking office. I don't know the arrangements but not unlike a caravan park
I would imagine that owners have to pay some sort of annual site rental and maintenance
    charge.

Trouble is with the next generation most of them didn't start work until they were in their twenties ,whilst the current wrinkly generation started working & building up their pension pots when they were 15

We're hoping to get away for a short holiday in a few weeks' time. Assuming we can still go, it'll be the first time we as a family will have left the house since mid March. I'm thinking of buying three cattle prods to ensure people keep their distance from us!:D

You could take a couple of wendy fans to keep people away from you, and as an added bonus it will also work with the flies

It became a bit of a battle - the students didn’t want to tackle it, despite our encouragement. They got most of their deposits back, less the very unfair deductions.
We were not happy but they didn’t want the aggro. So multiply that by the hundreds of students, and the agent is making a killing. My daughter lost £90.
I will, at some point kick up a fuss... it just became too much of a battle between us trying to tackle it, and her wanting to leave it alone. Basically the bullies have won.

In the summer of 1971, I went on a "camping" holiday with my best mate (now sadly departed) to Reighton Gap. Sunday was a beautiful day so we spent the day sunbathing with no protection. By evening we were both suffering the effects of the sun, torsos like lobsters. The next day was spent hiding is the shadows after spending a largely sleepless night in our sleeping bags. By Tuesday morning we were on our way back to Wombwell shedding skin where ever we went. The folly of youth eh!
