Well the iFollow ballcocks continues, downloaded the App redeemed my code last night, said I was successful have to say it was stressful slow and not great ! I couldn’t watch any videos which seemed strange but when I’ve checked my email this morning it’s saying it didn’t work due to a problem with billing ! I can’t see why I should put my bank details in for something that’s free, with the way things are going I will have paid for a season ticket and not even be able to watch any games ! I know this is nothing to do with the club but last season it was crap but foolishly I thought it may have improved
I might be wrong but I believe you need to put your card details in but it won’t charge you. It wont work if you don’t
Yeah I put card details in ( don’t agree with it as I’m cynical) , tried again it said code not valid is it the fact the match isn’t available until 1 hour before ? Previously you could watch videos interviews old matches etc
Card or PayPal details are required unfortunately, but zero monies are taken. It's nothing to do with the club, it's IFollow "improvements"
worked for me earlier in the week. Didnt work for my dad last night but that was a different problem - when he logged in he just got a bouncing ball instead of the payment screen. I think he was using Edge - which I dont have but I've duplicated the problem using Internet Explorer but it worked for me on Chrome - just going to call him and ask him to try a different web browser
If you're successful you should receive a confirmation email from EFL Digital. With this in it... "Subscription: Video Match Pass Sub total: £8.33 Tax: £1.67 Total: £10.00 Discount: £10.00 Discounted Total: £0.00 Payment Method: MasterCard xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx Billing Date: 2020-09-11 This payment will show up on your statement as EFL Digital Limited." I assume they're not really going to bill me for a zero amount, but who knows with this lot (EFL not BFC).
...'Cheeky' request for all you guys using/have paid for iFollow abroad either annual pass or single match pass. After being dis-satisfied with last years problems with iFollow personally I have not yet renewed for this season. It is nothing to do with wait and see how Barnsley FC perform but more of how iFollow service works and if it has improved in line with the price hike. So.... If you have problems or found that it has been better for streaming i.e. less pixelation, freezes, black screens, loss of sound or poor synchronisation, could you post/message me. if all is well after a few matches I will renew. My thinking is although I would be paying for a season having missed part of it it still work out cheaper than paying on an individual match basis. That assumes there is not a cut off point for buying an annual pass for the current season. T.I.A.
Just tried that for my Dad - even put £1 in it but when you try and use it on iFollow it insists there is a credit card linked to the account which is a real pain
Strange, I used my Paypal account to set up my Mums yesterday. The same Paypal account i used for mine on Wednesday.
A cynic might say that the EFL hope to charge £10 to everyone who messes up inputting the promo code. I wouldn't say that, of course, but a cynic might.
