Is it the page with the red buttons half way down that say 'pay with this card' or something like that? You have to select one of them if so. Are you able to print screen the page and block out your personal info?
The really white page that says my information... payment information...billing address etc.? If so, under purchased packages does it say: Video Match Pass 14/09/2020 ACTIVE Visa XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX XX/XXXX
Yes just kept loading that page up when I clicked on subscribe now. I would imagine @BarnsleyReds has it right and it was just too much demand. Very frustrating. If the club will refund me I'll take it. £250 for pot luck on if I can watch or not isn't value for money to me.
I just edited my reply, quickly before the game ends, under purchased packages does it say: Video Match Pass 14/09/2020 ACTIVE Visa XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX XX/XXXX This will help us know whether the code worked or not. We can only test things whilst the game is on otherwise you may have same problems next week if we can't sort it now (unless you do get a refund).
I got Voucher Code invalid despite checking three times that it was the same code that was e-mailed. Gave up on it and glad I did by the sound of it.
Worked for me as I bought my pass as soon as I got the code. Tried to help a friend today but went round the same loop as everyone else - payment error first attempt, then every time I get to the payment page on multiple devices, it redirects to the account info page and no, it wasn't in the purchases section. Absolutely shambolic from EFL.
As an update to this - first off, I'd like to apologise on behalf of Barnsley FC to anyone who encountered issues today (a lot of you by the looks of it) and I can assure you that we are trying to get to the bottom of these problems with the EFL etc. Fully understand the frustration, and only wish it was in our hands. Because it is we as a club who suffer from others' failings.
It's crap isn't it. Club has nothing to do with it but gets all the stick. EFL runs the thing but because they hide behind an email address they avoid the confrontation
It's demoralising, mate. A few of us have again worked until daft o'clock this week to get codes out (nearly 8,000) and we practically nail that, our side of it, only to see that ruined by failings elsewhere. And whilst yes, I think the majority were fine and saw the game, far too many didn't. Some would say 'lucky them' on this occasion but seriously, it's so frustrating.
I've seen you mention getting the codes out before, are you seriously saying it's not an automatic thing? I assumed ifollow would just hit a button and send it to everyone.
Assuming you are referring to a Match Pass, contact iFollow buddy. iFollow@efl.com I believe the address is.
It is a shame we cannot bin iFollow and start our own bespoke system. It would probably be far more costly to go it alone, but knowing our club wouldn't have to give up 20 percent would likely increase subscriptions.
