His first 3 games. 2 losses 1 draw. Also lost our last 2 games before lockdown if it wasn’t for the break we would have gone down whatever happened.
It's a worry (or maybe I am getting a bit hysterical), that in 2 games running he has got into the right position and missed. I have only just seen the chance on the Recap,he looked scared of being clattered by the goalkeeper but he didn't hit the target from 3 metres. If he is going to be getting in those positions ,then he needs 15 minutes a day practising finishing. Could have rescued a point yesterday. He's not to blame, a lot of the team looked off it,we missed Browns pressing from the beginning. Lightweight up front,no bite from Midfield, it was easy for Luton.
No good making excuses for him really. He should have been on target from where he was. Bet your bottom dollar that if that chance had fallen to James Collins, he would have stuck it away.
It's a bad miss. The fact that it was the only really decent chance we created is more of a worry IMO.
He seemed to bottle out of it before he connected with the ball. He appears to be like his mates Ritzmaier and Schmidt when it comes to that
Agree Ben, for all the world , instead of being focused on putting the chance away, he looked to be waiting for the impact from their defender clattering into him. The fact that that didn't happen made it look worse. Any good player would have put their head in and got the goal irrespective of the consequences.
