    Front windscreen washer doesn’t work

    Rear one fine

Is their 2 seperate water pumps and 2 seperate fuses

I can only find one fuse 7.5 amp and when I remove this the rear one doesn’t work either

If I remember correctly it’s one pump that reverses when you want to wash the rear.

This is what I thought so what could be causing the issue if the fuse is ok and only one pump

You can’t hear the pump running when you press for front washer .

There might be a bit of crap in the nozzle pal. Does the motor sound like it's trying to pump water out?. If it is try cleaning the nozzle.... Better still, if you can detatch the nozzle and give it a good blow.

Blocked pipe feeding the front washers?

If it was blocked pipes wouldn’t you still hear the pump trying to pump water through (which you don’t )

Sounds like the slide has either jammed or deteriorated.

In the short term, swap the tubes around so washing back window washes the front. Presumes they are same size, of course.

Sorted it and believe it or not all I kept doing was alternating from the back washer and front several times and the front then started working . So just have unblocked a jam somewhere . Thanks everyone
