Interesting how different a game of football can look when you take your chances. We haven't been great, but you view the performance a lot better when you've scored goals. Some soundbites from me: - That passing around the back in the first ten minutes was appalling - Helik will learn quickly (like Madds did) how little time you get on the ball. Twice Boro would have been in on our goal if the striker doing the press hadn't have committed a foul - Schmidt is busy. Doesn't have to touch the ball like people expect if he works the space and helps the press - Anyone notice Lundwig playing the Reece James role that Neville talked about last night? Picking up the ball in central midfield and giving us extra bodies in there - Frieser is our best striker with his back to goal. Looks strong but has been quiet bar one half chance Shame we can't buy tickets for Stamford Bridge!
Great first half, Boro's tactics seemed to suit us a lot more than Luton's did. Would be nice to get a four-niller to boost the confidence a bit.
skysports; ok we'll go to the riverside and hear how barnsleys going on, how they playing kammy ? supurb since the goal. . . whoa they've just scored again, who got it kammy ? 'ave they ?, i dont know i was talking to you it may have been mowatt but i havent got replay on this monitor....................... absolute class
Nice to hear the boro commentators talking about our big, solid defence. Really want to get to Oakwell to see this in person.
I'm happy for both Schmidt and Williams; two players constantly maligned on here. Now if only Ritzmaier could get himself into people's good books.
