Taking turns is the only fair way surely. A lot of the people who have had season tickets will be elderly too I would imagine.

Think doing a random number pick, bit like selecting Bingo numbers would seem fair

I'd go longest serving if they wanted one. People like Kelvin who never missed a match home and away and who have had season tickets for 50 years deserve to be the first. Back in the 60s when he got his first season ticket I didn't even know you could get one. Bet there were less than a 1,000 back then. The season ticket phenomenon only really took off during the Premier era.

While I agree with that to an extent, there will be younger folk who have also had a season ticket all the time they could and who've also never missed a match. Me , personally am not bothered how it's done I do think a lot of our older ST holders might well choose not to risk it at the moment

Priority given to any tradesmen that can help with stadium maintenance while in the ground

If we join the fray at a point where we can get at least half our STs in I'd say have a ballot for the first game and give priority for the next game to those who missed out.

Even with a 1000 capacity, if they wanted to they could draw 1000 from the ST holders, then for the next game draw 1000 from those that weren't chosen until everyone gets a game and start again.

That way if say there's 7000 season ticket holders you'll see three, maybe four matches this season.

Maybe we get 1000 in one stands but organise grouse shoots and fox hunts in the other stands so any ****** can surreptitiously watch while shouting tally ho.

Is there a genuine business reason to retain that information?
Genuine question as I can’t think of one.

1000 isn't the norm it's just for a test event. The thousand should be those on our system who have been a season ticket holder the longest without missing a year. The ground will be full of older people but I think that's fair for a test event.

Haven’t you spent the last 6 months talking about protecting the vulnerable? Now you’re packing them off to Oakwell with their flasks and blankets.

The historic season ticket data was lost at the time of the administration, so the records only go back a few years. I recall this being mentioned when suggestions of how high-demand, low supply fixtures could be better handled than using Colchester stubs.

Fattest - make the ground look a bit more full.
