Work horse front 3 with 2 “flair” players and an impact sub off the bench seems like a pretty good plan to me.

Yes. We definitely aren’t playing attacking full backs, an attacking midfielder and 2 strikers.

Agreed, he'd be one of the first names on my teamsheet.

I do agree with you to an extent, Ritzmare has been awful and we need to get shut but we also know Struber isn't going to change the system too much and Woodrow just doesn't fit in. I think Woodrow will be sold (not that I want him to to be sold). Also agree about Odour, can't understand why he hasn't had more game time, he looks a real prospect and is one of the few players that can deliver decent set pieces.

With 4 strikers on the bench too. Feels like overkill but I assume some of them are intended as wide options if needed.

Looks bizarre, but I've learned that the more bizarre his selection choices appear, the better we seem to perform.

Doesn’t seem to be a requirement for Ritzmaier

There's random people on the street that have scored more goals in the football league than the team Struber has selected. Sometimes Struber seems OK, but he really isn't very bright. Sorry if you don't like that Struber mate, but you're just not.

Go ultra defensive with line up with attacking options on the bench to nick a winner late on and have a man sent off. Couldn't make it up.

Walton had it covered and I don't think it was a sending off. That said, don't put yourself in that position ffs. Total brain fart moment.

It also begs the question that with such a defensive formation and so many defensive players in the pitch why was their only barnsley player in the same postcode as their player? Where was everyone else?

This squad is so weak it's unbelievable.

I think in all my time watching us this group is the one with the least goal threat in it. God knows who is going to a score a league goal once Cauley goes next week.
