Some money, we desperately need some bodies to shake it up, two games in and already taking our usual spot at the bottom of the table, I know its early, but as we know losing becomes an horrible habit
Don't be daft. Our owners won't even spend the money they agreed to buy the club, no chance are they going to spend money buying silly things like good footballers.
I'd av swapped the two league cup wins because Middlesbrough and Forest won't play the same in the league.
We play pretty, pressing football with no end product, I'd rather have route one football with a couple of big bustling centre forwards on the end of deliveries, we really need to toughen up, these reversals are depressing
"Spend some money towards the upkeep of Oakwell and we'll consider spending some money on good players"
Let's hope so. I mean, if we'd have won the first couple of games, and Struber asked for more players, he would have more than likely got told to go with what he's got. Now, GS may use the dodgy start as a more pressing reason why we need to shake things up with new blood
If I was the Crynes I would be intimating I would be putting up 2.75m if they got paid what they are owed.
I'd say we're getting ready to sell Woodrow... To finance any incoming deal. Strikers are not cheap, even average ones.. So to get one or maybe better going down the McBurnie Fletcher route and loan. Where you have a better class of player for your money.. I know our board don't like this idea but short term (this season) it may just keep us in this division.
I do not think that Struber would entertain route one football therefore would you be in favour of a change of manager ?
No I think Struber is fine, but he has no other options available to him to change tactics during a game, to have the personnel at his disposal to react to certain situations in any given game.
But that's his choice? He chooses to play this way and has brought in and released players purely to play this system. He's had nearly 2 transfer windows and there is still no plan b other than putting halme up front.
