    What's better about it?

I've tried to use DuckDuckGo but I just can't do when you compare to Google.

Have used Brave browser for around three years, really like it. I use DuckDuckGo as a search engine as it doesn't track the user in the same way Google does.

My issue with duckduckgo is that (by my understand) it's a meta search engine. That is to say it works by running your query by Google, bing, etc without passing on your identifiable data, then aggregates the results and presents them back to the user. So yes it's private but it basically piggy backs on the search infrastructure of other companies. I don't know why that doesn't sit particularly well with me but it doesn't. An ideal private alternative to Google should be just that

Have you tried Vivaldi? I use that as a backup when some sites won't play with Brave.
