    Thanks for last season Gerhard, thought you did an excellent job when it looked like we would be down before the Christmas trimmings. Unfortunately it looks like poor recruitment will hamper us again this season so best to get out while your stock is still fairly high.

    Besides we’ve needed a target man since we sold the last target man we had who we didn’t need to sell, the fact we didn’t replace him IS the fault of the recruitment staff and the board.

    Is this the new pattern then? One memorable season per head coach, then it turns to crap again? That's just as bad, possibly worse, than the player development and sale model.

    After the Chelsea game and today's showing I wouldn't be surprised if its true....maybe the players have known all along and their hearts havent been in it......
    Guess they aren't looking forward to Mr Murray taking the rains again.....
    Time for Disco and Bobby to step up to the line....guess they can't do any worse ....

    Whoever it is closing the deal met many a poor salesman who couldn't close a deal nothings done till the signature is on the dotted line. Also when a players knocked you back once at the last minute and you go back don't be surprised if he does it again maybe they should have had a back up ready to go.

    Best of luck to him if he does go, he did an unbelievable job last season and deserved to be backed by the board this summer but clearly hasn’t. Great opportunity for him to progress his career and what a great experience to live in New York.

    I'm not sure I'd want them to. All clubs need continuity and I think developing the youngsters gives that.
