One name I want on the list of interviews should be Paul Simpson. The guy knows how to work with kids and he's been around the F.A set up. I think he's good a coach and maybe bring someone like Kevin Betsy back as assistant. We might get a few more decisions if we have an ex F.A man in charge.
Yes great choice. Who's he going to have a physio, Jordan??? Honestly, some people on here have no fekin idea!!!!!
Whilst not shouting for Struber's head, I'm quite indifferent as to whether he stays or goes. He's admitted that he had discussions with the owners about the budget, but it's just not been spent particularly wisely. Helik's been hauled off today, Frieser is struggling to find a role in the side and no comment needed on Ritzmaier. He's now continually talking the strikers down, it's no wonder they have no confidence. We have two strikers that got double figures last season, one that was a Struber pick this window, with Schmidt as backup, who seems to be the best finisher of the lot.
Wouldn't like Joe Jordan as my physio, though once he'd growled at me with missing incisors it might lead me to say that I'd miraculously recovered from my groin strain
I suspect there is the perfect candidate lined up. It is what it is. 2 million fee & he kept us up last season & hopefully we see the back of Ritzmare for a few more million. He may actually be OK in the MLS. Who cares?
McCarthy anyone. ( wouldn’t touch it at mo pretty sure) I’m the worst at picking managers. Only 2 I welcomed were Kieth Hill and Nigel Spackman. So I’ll keep out of it. Although I thought Hilly had the style I liked. At the beginning. Playing keep ball. He spent too much time getting us forward and playing it back then going in reverse when stuck.
That's what I thought with Stendel and training Tonge up, and the same method of play through the academies. That all fell to pieces though!
Assuming it's true, I don't blame him for taken the opportunity while his stock is high. My main hope is that we don't arse about for two international breaks before appointing someone, as if there's no urgency. If I could pick someone as replacement, who I think had the potential to stick around for a while, I'd try to entice Darren Moore from Doncaster. Fully expect another foreigner I haven't heard of to be the guy though.
I welcomed Spackman, too. It felt like a brilliant appointment. I was loving it, because he's going to take us back up. *blush*
