    New spitting image looks decent. Looking forward to it. Just hope it hasn't become all PC and boring just in fear of upsetting somebody.

    Take a closer look at the Grove puppet....... pay attention to his nose and cheeks.....spot on in my opinion.....pmsl

    It will be just the same as 2DTV and all the other incarnations that ITV have used over the last few years.

    Expect it to be crap, but I hope I'm wrong.

    Totally agree.
    Us license payers funded the making of it, but BBC making us pay again to watch it. I was looking forward to watching it as there are plenty of current folk in politics, royals, public office here and around the world to take the p*ss out of and could make a very funny programme. BUT I refuse to pay extra for something that I have already paid for.
    Shame really, I was looking forward to an entertaining 'blast from the past'.

    The way the BBC is being controlled the by this govt. it will be watered down ( if indeed, the Beeb are running it). According to reports I read a short while ago this new BBC gaffer is already looking to axe so-called left-wing comedy shows such as Have I Got News for You and Mock the Week

    I read this - how on earth can anyone consider Have I Got News For You and Mock the Week left wing? As far as HIGNFY, it basically got Johnson the Mayor of London job - possibly PM too.

    (The Mash report and News Quiz also mentioned, and I grant you they are left leaning).

    If you look closely at the face of groves puppet his nose is a **** and his cheeks look like a ball sack.....once you've seen it it becomes unseeable every time you look at the image lol
