Is Instagram similar to Facebook. And can’t you advertise via that as well. To share. Forgive my ignorance of all the social media outlets.
Yes, a pencil sketch. Good luck mate, I'll follow it.. A friend of ours runs her business on Instagram and now has over 100,000 followers. Makes a tidy sum from advertising her products on Instagram. I find Instagram far better than Facebook because it's just pictures and videos without the boring status updates and check-ins.
I'm not Party to any of those sites Kev, but I sincerely hope that yourself and your lady make a success of your new venture. What I will do for you though mate, is inform all the younger members of our clan in Donny, in the hope that they will pay you a visit. Also, I will let some of my former colleagues who I worked with as a part time Youth Worker of the existence of your skatepark, in the hope that even though the Young People's Youth Service as we once knew it, has been decimated due to cut backs, some of them are still involved on a voluntary basis and they might be able to drum up some support.
For business use it depends on who you are looking to engage with and what your aims are. If the aim is brand awareness then Instagram is the one. Its entire platform is built around visibility. If the aim is dialogue and communication between customers or potential customers an the business then Facebook or even twitter is the one. If it's interaction with customers then I'd say tiktok. Then there's the who. If you are trying to get your brand, in this case the skatepark, noticed by the youth who presumably would be using it then Instagram wins all day long, if it's the parents who will be funding it then it's Facebook. Personally I'd have a Facebook, twitter, insta (I'm cool enough to shorten it honest) and tiktok. Use the Facebook for actual information sharing, twitter for short bursts of information, insta for brand awareness and lots of action shots etc and tiktok for showing off tricks and cool skate things (I know nowt about skating) done in the skatepark, encourage others to try to copy or outdo them. If you use your own sound then others who copy it will also use that sound giving more and more exposure. For an example of how tiktok can increase the exposure of a local business check out Dolly's desert's. Almost 200,000 followers on there and their videos are basically just showing the making of the food but the name is out there and people actually visit barnsley just to eat there.
In response to my earlier post Kev. My Daughter in law is a marketing expert and web designer. ( self employed ) Don’t know if you’ve considered this avenue. ?
