If he goes do you think our delightful board could try and show willing and maybe go beyond expectations and maybe get mick in
Don't be silly, that'd be an obvious, straight forward choice that makes good sense. Plus, Mick doesn't have barely no management experience and hasn't done his coaching apprenticeship in subpar leagues in the other side of Europe. Just saying.
You’ve obviously heard this from Tongey and I’ve had it from another source that Murray’s a snake. He was one of the ones who helped get Malik Wilks out of the club because Murray didn’t personally like him. Struber trusted his advice when he first walked through the door and I’ve no doubt he’s done other stuff
a. he wouldn't come. he's said that many times b. we couldn't afford him c. he isn't a coach, he's a manager d. within 12 months of us still being $hit, he would end up sacked e. it would put the owners in an even tougher position with the fans, it if didn't pan out as romantic as it is, not in a million years. and tbf to the current owners, no one else has given him the job either.
The most experienced head coach appointment so far by the current owners is Jose Morais with 80 games in charge prior to taking charge. Daniel had 34 games and Gerhard 21 games. Unless the owners have a massive change of approach expect an unknown European coach with minimal experience to be unveiled as the next head coach. The choice of coach is very similar to the playing staff, someone young who can be developed and sold on. Time for yet more heroes....
Unfortunately by the time this stunning story comes out it probably won't be that relevant. Don't blame you for milking it though GR
UPDATE (Sept. 25): Another name has emerged in the Red Bulls coaching search, with Once a Metro reporting that 44-year-old Portuguese manager Jorge Simao is a potential candidate for the position. Simao most recently managed Saudi Arabia's Al-Fayha, but has otherwise spent his career managing in his native Portugal. .With respect. As far i as can gather via the web. That news was released on the 24th. The one about Red bulls having paid for Struber is on the 26th. Until the club release a statement. We are none the wiser.
