I’m going to be ENORMOUSLY peeed off if Gerhard Struber leaves

..... I reckon if this fella gets a few (3 or 4?) more players at the club we would be pushing for top 6 in the league.
Gerhard is one of the best, if not the best, manager I’ve ever seen at Barnsley.
Top top manager.
Barnsley Football Club cannot afford to let this guy go.

don’t think a couple of signings would sway his decision if he wants to get a foot in the RB door

 

Doesn’t help that we sell players he obviously likes. Brown etc.

 

You are a very emotional feller you should sit back and let proceedings take their course and stop getting over-excited.

I totally agree... Best manager weve had. If he goes i look forward to the next foreign manager who plays the pressing style.. The board did well finding struber and stendel

 

If (and I know it’s a big if) we don’t sell any others, then Struber’s had a good couple of transfer windows by this club’s standards.

 

I know you are kidding but evidently not. Struber pissed off at losing brown with no adequate replacement.

 

Based on what may I ask.

 

Struber isn’t remotely the best manager we’ve ever had.

 

I hope the uncertainty in his future means the board aren’t going to sign any players that he wants and they stick to their guns and work off the spreadsheet. Struber’s record in the transfer marked has been mixed to say the least.

 

would be a big loss would Strube boy, won't begrudge him if he goes. Would probably take his family to NY and could have a chance at one of the RB bigger clubs one day. Kept us up and always gave it his all.

Assuming he wants to go. If he does go it will prob's be another foreigner in charge. Welsh is foreign and so are Scots and Irish.

Maybe one day we will get a manager who wants to be here and not have a release clause and not talk to other clubs everytime a new job takes their fancy. I pretty sure the owners explain the plan to the players and managers when they sign up, if they don't explain then it doesn't take a lot of research to find out how BFC is run.
I only care professional football team wise about Barnsley FC, if they don't want to be here or not happy with the contract they agreed to and signed then please piss off as soon as possible. That goes for players as well, we are not bankrupting our club to pay players and managers obsurd wages. I am also pretty sure a player showing quality and commitment will earn enough in his career here to be pretty secure for the rest of their lives but remember we all don't retire and not work after 35.

 

You will never get that as all managers/coaches these days have agents & if they have an agent they will always have complicated contracts & will usually end up moving around , its all to do with money , thats why they sign up an agent to look after their interests .
