Agree. Struber should have been on gardening leave as soon as news broke we've probably p1ssed three points away there. 2 v Coventry and 1 v Middlesbrough.
If it was to be Lee Johnson, his first game would be at home on the 17th October to Bristol City.! He surely would have the required knowledge to negate their threats and earn us our first three points.?
when you need something sorting quickly send for Mr Wolfe................................ pulp fiction
Out of the two mentioned, I’d take LJ for one season. I didn’t mind him and generally he did ok at Bristol.
I think the next guy will pick the right team and look like a miracle worker when in fact they're just doing their job. I like this squad of players.
I believe that the announcement regarding any new appointment will go beyond tomorrow announcement of Gerhards departure. The board have to get this next one right. We need someone who knows the EFL . Someone like our former player Darren Moore could do a good job. Gerhard leaves with my gratitude for last season and also for voicing an opinion that we can see, but apparently our owners can't i.e we lack quality. Whilst recognising the fact that the board have probably heeded his advice on at least four of our most recent acquisitions, as I and several others are saying on a regular basis, we are crying out for two or three players who can perform in the Championship. At this stage, loans would do, but let's get them in.!
I think they'll both be announced one after the other. Throughout their tenure these owners have tried to off set one piece of news with another.
"Drove it full speed into the iceberg" Sounds quite exciting that does. You sure you're talking about LJ?
