Just been stuck in traffic around the roadworks going on from Cortonwood up to Darfield. Sat behind two lads in a Mercedes who decided to launch rubbish out of the window onto the pavement. They did it a few times. Both sporting snapbacks and thick gold chains on their wrists like real gangsters.

I'm not one for snitching, but I really wish there was a facility to report such things. I cant stand littering.

Not sure why I'm posting this, but it's really wound me up! If they're tarn fans and they read this board, just know you're a pair of knobs!

Anyway, we got a new gaffer yet?

Saw a car pull up at the side of the road the other day. A woman walked up and got in the passenger side, wound the window down and threw her cigarette butt onto the pavement.

Why not put it into your ashtray you ignorant fecker?

The nobs that park in KFC and eat in their car then proceed to chuck the rubbish on the floor next to their car even though a bin is 3 feet away really pisses me off

Honestly, the mind boggles. And they'll the be the first to complain about their town being a dump.

i had some neighbours who would leave there own house, get in the car and before driving off dump McDonalds wrappers out of the car window,.

They stopped doing it when i picked it all up and as they drove back in later handed it all to them. scruffy set of *****

Well fair play to you. I'm not a confrontational type, but that really wound me up today. There was a few in the car (only the two in the front littering) and one of me, I get the feeling if I pulled up alongside and said something anything could have happened.

I had something similar recently as well. As a pedestrian a car honked his horn at me as i crossed the road. No need as i was already on the other side, so I gave him the 2 fingered salute. He stopped the car at the side of the road. I thought ****, as i could see his mate in the passenger side. So I gave him my fiercest stare as he wound his window down, then he set off again thankfully....

You want to see county way car park on a Sunday morning before the council clean it up. Looks like Just Eat funded a festival, think it's a trend amongst some of the younger generation car fans.

Something's gone wrong somewhere. It's definitely an attitude thing. I suppose they believe it makes them look rebellious and 'tough'. No honor in doing the right thing, apparently. Probably an issue for society more widely... but that's opening a can of worms!

Just put your rubbish in the bin ffs. It's really not hard and it really helps everyone.

Fast food joinys should have to put the regisyration number on drive through food packages, then any found dumped should be a fine to the food company who then claim it back from the dumper.

Why not just fine the owners of the car reg straight away. They do it with speed cameras.

Edit, can't see how food companies would be able to claim it back as the DVLA hold the car details

It surely is incredibly simple to come up with the basic technology for drive thru’s (sorry for the Americanism there) to print the number plate on the Food packaging.
Then, if found anywhere other than in a bin, £60 fine.

Sad to say it’s not a new phenomenon. Since drive throughs appeared on the scene many moons ago. It’s been rife.
Make the fines mean something when they’re caught. And add 100 hrs community service cleaning up litter.

If you're in slow moving traffic surely you can photograph the number plate then report it to the police?

Oh I can remember the number plate easy enough. But ultimately, there's no proof. I doubt Plod would be much interested anyway.
