    They've changed it.

Not sure if I’m being daft, but it’s a picture of the West Stand?

Yeah they’ve changed it, it was a picture of a bloke walking up a corridor pulling a suitcase, presumably meant to be Struber.

But the corridor was at Ashton Gate and there was a Bristol City badge on the wall they’d obviously missed.

To be fair, it was Struber. From Bristol City last season. I have it myself, taken by our club photographer pre-match. We were going to use it that day with a witty tagline on twitter like "leaving with three points." Sadly, we lost. :(

    Same old, same old.

Barnsley are looking to make at least three new signings in the final week of the transfer window.

Well, it was 3 players at the start of the season and nothing has changed as we have brought 2 in (first team Helik and Freiser) and lost 3 and a Head coach ( Struber, Brown , Ludewig and Ritz). Plus Ben W is long term injured. So we need 5 plus a HC now

"Reds hunt wing-back, striker and midfielder in final week of window"

That's stating the obvious when we can't score and this week lost a wing back and a midfielder. We have been let for ages into thinking we were after 2-3 players and now we've lost another couple, so it can be said we need an handful of new signings or we are going to struggle for strength in depth and competition for places.

Surely we need the new manager in for his input first or will it be “here you are get on with it”

I think we're beyond the point of having time to appoint a coach, identify his targets and negotiate a transfer before the deadline.

Took us 14 months to take the hint that Kulenovic doesn't want to play for us.

things are bleak roy. bit of a basket case at the minute. our ability to attract quality players is pretty low right now. I reckon pretty much anyone we bring in this window will be a punt. assuming there's absolutely no chance of older heads, we're looking at more unproven lower league/continental players. with no coach or cohesion in the squad, these aren't likely to be players that come in and make a major impact. towin.

    This sums it up:

"Before these owners arrived, Barnsley had lost one manager or head coach to another club in 20 years – Lee Johnson – but it has happened twice more in their first three years in charge. At what point do the owners – like a person whose last several relationships all end for the same reasons – start to think: ‘it’s not them, it’s me’?"

Despite interview requests, Conway, the face of the majority ownership group, has not been available – other than for national papers when complaining about the EFL, often fairly – since the victory parade after the promotion last year.

It is surely time to address the fans who have committed to the club in their thousands this season, helping them to keep afloat in trying times by buying season tickets, but are currently seeing very little return on their investment.

doesn't that mean they've been better at picking managers?

Because they sod off when the owners don't put funds in? Depends what you call successful then, but my definition isn't one that includes your head coach buggering off/wanting to bugger off every 12 months
