    Maguire shouldn't be anywhere near the squad right now. But it was never a second yellow card. He didn't even make a tackle he just stretched and played a pass before losing his footing and following through slightly but by accident.

    Referee has had an absolute shocker first half

    He gets his foot around the ball and plays it towards an England player. He lunged in but he didn't slide in and did exactly what he wanted to until after he'd got the ball

    He touches the ball but it wasn't going to Phillips if anything he would have put the Denmark player through if he hadn't then taken him out. It was absolutely terrible defending

    It was awful defending. I'll give you that. Just not a second yellow for me.

    The first yellow could have been a red though it was that stupid

    Some of the comments in this thread are just ridiculous. Complaining about treatment that Stones got, but then giving Maguire the same?!
    No way is that a red card. He won the ball. If it happens to a Barnsley player we have an inquest.

    Just another reason to stop liking football for me. Destroying our own country's good players, by hounding them.

    Much as I’m no big fan of either maguire or Walker, it was a very harsh second yellow and a downright ridiculous decision for the penalty.
