    If this liverpool player move ,has owt to do with Billy buying into Fenway group .just read there may be a couple coming from Anfield kane permanent deal apparently and a loan player also

    They aren't all superstars though. They produce some duffers.

    Maybe, but I'd be surprised if Kane wasn't on our radar already. Young, promising player, who's had a good season in league 1 (albeit the season before last). Kane fits our mould, and he's described as a combative midfielder, which I think we all agree, we're probably lacking.

    It's certainly possible. Although we have loaned players from Liverpool before and it's gone well mostly. I'm glad we are open to loans again as getting talent from top teams has been vital to other teams in this league, and us in the past Mcburnie Barnes etc

    I would imagine our interest in Whiteman is over then unless we sell Mowatt.

    That’s what concerns me. I hope we’ve signed him because he has skills or attributes the team was missing, rather than because he looks good on a spreadsheet.

    I wouldn’t want a repeat of the time we had Mallen, Knasmullner and Moncur all competing for a position that didn’t exist.

    The Club has a lot of Players who are not attackers or traditional midfielders, Ritzmaier,Bahre,Thomas, Simoes,Odour,Freiser,et al. We need to move away from this utility type of player, as we don't score enough and so far this season have not got control of the midfield area. It's time for players who can win the ball back, create, protect the defence and attackers who try to score.
    I know,I'm wrong,simplistic but blimey football shouldn't be complicated.

    Now we have seemingly got this done for Kane I cannot see us getting Whiteman now unless Mowatt leaves maybe.
