    Excellent signing on paper. All signings are a gamble but this one looks a potentially decent one. Pleased to see its a signing rather than the rumoured loan deal .
    if we can just sign a suitable striker as well I would be well pleased - though a left back would be handy too

    I am a big critic of this board and won't apologise for it, either. However, if I'm prepared to criticise them, then I should also praise them when they do something right. I believe they've come up with a cracker of a signing here, so well done to the board. Keep up the good work.

    Great news! Well done BFC and welcome Herbie!
    Surprising these days, but good to see the cost of the transfer released. More money spent on a potential quality player. Together with Callum Brittain, looks like we've added some real depth to the squad.
    In addition to which, we've already nailed down Jordan Williams and Elliot Simoes to new contracts and sent out young Matty to get some experience. Good manpower planning which augurs well for the future.
    One might even argue that, despite all the stick they get, the Board are showing some real intent and purpose with these developments.
    However that could be completely wrong and all four of them will probably be sold on the cheap in January.
