" ...we're focussed on playing well for Mz. We like him and he is a good coach and a good man. The performance (v City) showed that the lads are behind him..."

just seen that from the YP. Nice to see a senior player in the squad singing the praises of a guy who has been crucified on here for no apparent reason. Well done Cauley.

I only see someone who's trying their best for the club with Adam Murray. I don't get all the criticism of him at all.

    And well done Cauley

Tbf it’s meaningless. what’s he going to say? “we all think he’s a bellend and can’t wait for him to leave”? I’ve got nowt against Adam Murray. Only seems to be one person that’s gunning for him. But players coming out and saying that means nowt.

Might be more in it. Woodrow was back up front and looked happier.

exactly this its starting to annoy me a bit everyone calling him a snake when on the face of it hes done nothing wrong that I can see. And you'll find if you ask someone why he's a snake they don't reply with facts just say things like "he just is" it seems to me like a couple people have claimed it based on nothing to very little and the rest are just following like sheep. If someone can prove me wrong on this fine but for me at minute I think best case scenario we carry on performing well under Murray and he gets the job permanent

The fact that one of our key players is coming out like that in support of Murray suggests to me that Murray may well be our best option as the new head coach. Surely Woodrow is in a far better position than any BBS contributors to judge Murray's merits in that role. It is perfectly possible that the departure of Struber was a factor in Woodrow's decision to sign a new contract.

He would still have needed assurances from the club after the miserable 10 months he's had under Struber.

Fair point but I was told privately last season by Conor Chaplin and Cam McGeehan that the squad really like him and that they were all right behind him in his last stint as caretaker.

Jordan Williams signed a new deal since Struber left as well.

You can't expect all the players to come out as say stuff all the time though, especially statements on the official website. there's only so much the media team can do and I'm fairly sure that interviewing all the players after a match is a bit OTT

The opposite would have been for him to say nothing, which would have spoke volumes but by saying what he has then I believe him .

Everyone, really, I don't recall ever making a comment about him being a snake or any other words pulling him down. I simply don't know him. I will judge his tenure in charge and that's about it

His first game and we stopped with the ridiculous pissing around in our box from a goal kick.

So at least he did something right

    We also got a penalty.

We also scored from a corner.

You can have really likeable characters but that doesn't always translate well as regards being a boss. Coaching and managing a team are two different skill sets and tbh in his first spell I think he lost his way a bit. But it's all a learning curve and we shall have to see what happens.

Maybe everyone's not the best word for it but if you look down facebook and certain threads on here where Murray is the topic of conversation you just see snake emojis and people referring to him been a snake with nothing to back it up and it does seem like a large amount of people doing this. When I say everyone I didnt mean literally every single fan apologies you are spot on tho judge him based on his tenure here and nothing more. I Personally dont think he did that bad a job when he took over before considering the situation we were in at the time.

I’ve only seen a couple of posters calling him a snake ,
A few not bothered of him being coach because of his last performances but most posts I’ve seen have been positive tbh.

If it’s just his reporting back to the owners that Strendel was applying for other jobs then I’ve no issues with him.
